Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Peekgentic Technologies LLC ("Peekgentic", "we", "us") collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how you can ask us to delete it. It covers our website at peekgentic.com, our email and booking channels, and our internal Instagram analytics tool.

Who we are

Peekgentic is an AI automation agency. We design and build custom automation for businesses. The company responsible for your information is:

Information we collect

When you use our website

• Booking questions. Before you book a call, our website may ask a few optional questions (what you want to automate, rough hours spent, systems involved, budget and timeline, industry) and your first name, last name and email address. We also record your browser's user agent string.
• Testimonials. If you submit a testimonial, we collect the name, role, company, industry, email address and quote you enter, your attribution preference, and your browser's user agent string.
• Technical data. Like any website, our hosting provider receives standard request information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. We count visits with our own counter, which uses no cookies and keeps one random ID in your browser's storage so we can tell new visits from repeat ones; it skips browsers that send Do Not Track. On our public marketing pages we also use the Google Ads tag, which uses cookies to measure whether our ads lead to visits and bookings. You can turn off personalized ads at adssettings.google.com.

When you book a call or email us

Calls are booked through Calendly. When you book, Calendly collects your name, email address and any answers you give, and shares them with us. We receive the content of any email you send us, along with your name and email address.

Through our Instagram account (the "peek" app)

We run an internal analytics tool, registered with Meta as the app "peek", that connects only to Peekgentic's own Instagram professional account through the official Instagram API. It is not offered to the public and it does not connect to anyone else's account. Through it we access:

• our own account's profile information (username, name, bio, follower and following counts);
• the posts, reels and stories we have published, and their captions;
• insights for our account and our content, such as reach, impressions, views, likes, saves, shares and follower growth;
• comments left on our posts, including the commenter's Instagram username and the text of the comment;
• direct messages sent to our account, including the sender's Instagram username or ID, the message content and the time it was sent.

If you comment on our posts or message our Instagram account, this means we receive the information Instagram makes available about that interaction. We do not access your private account data, your followers, or anything you have not directed to our account.

How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry, prepare for and hold the call you booked, and follow up with you.
• To provide the services you engage us for.
• To publish a testimonial you submitted, in line with the attribution preference you chose.
• To measure how our own Instagram content performs (for example, which posts reach the most people) so we can improve our marketing.
• To read and reply to comments and direct messages sent to our Instagram account.
• To keep our website and systems secure and working, and to meet legal obligations.

We do not use Instagram data to build advertising profiles, and we do not use it for any purpose other than analytics on our own account and replying to people who contact us.

We do not sell or share your data

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. Data obtained through the Instagram API is not transferred to any third party except the service providers that host our systems, and is never used in violation of Meta's Platform Terms.

We use a small number of service providers to operate our business. They process data on our behalf and only for that purpose:

• Amazon Web Services hosts our website and internal systems.
• Supabase stores website form submissions.
• Calendly handles call scheduling.
• Google Ads measures how our ads perform (ad clicks and bookings) using its tag and cookies on our public pages.
• Our email provider handles email we send and receive.
• Google Fonts and public content delivery networks serve fonts and page scripts, which means they receive your IP address when your browser loads them.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others. If Peekgentic is ever merged or sold, this policy would continue to apply to information we hold.

Where your data is stored and how it is protected

Your information is stored on systems we control, hosted in the United States with the providers listed above. Access is limited to Peekgentic staff who need it. We protect it with encryption in transit, access controls and account-level security. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold.

How long we keep it

• Instagram data (insights, media, comments and direct messages) is kept for up to 24 months from when we collect it, then deleted, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
• Booking answers, emails and enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, or for as long as you are a client.
• Client records that we must keep for tax, accounting or legal reasons are kept for as long as the law requires.
• Testimonials are kept until you ask us to remove them.

Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct information that is wrong;
• delete your information;
• stop contacting you.

Email stevenlaw@peekgentic.com with your request. We will not treat you differently for making one.

How to request deletion of your data

Children

Our website and services are for businesses and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will make that clear on this page.
